has your wip a working title? if so, tell us! if not, have you any idea of what it might be?

the name of my book is “There Was Cotten Candy Clouds.”

have you a synopsis for your wip? if so, give it to us! if not, can you give us a blurb on what your wip is about?

my wip is about 7 friends {some of them being siblings} and their adventures in a candy themed video game.

Ike Funnel; 17. ginger hair: fringed. green eyes, glasses

personalty: nerdish, oldest brother, immune to craziness

Reese Tryden; 17. dark brown hair: a wavy haircut. brown eyes

personalty: proud, hilarious, surprises people sometimes

Kat Almond; 16. straight light blond hair: mid-back. piercing blue eyes

personalty: leader, sensible, a realest, doesn’t care for uncalled for attention

Cim {Cinnamon} McRimmen; 16 {said Sim not Kim}. thick curly black hair with blond highlights. turquoise colored eyes

personality: everyone likes him and he’s always saving the day. He is adopted.

Cherry Funnel; 15. curly red kool-aid colored hair: medium length {lob}. light violet-colored eyes

personalty: crazy, gets scared sometimes

Jolly Grayson; 14. straight ice blue hair: shoulder length. yellowish-brown eyes

personality: a follower, caring, bright. best friends with Cherry. only child and rich. not snobby.

Tootsie Funnel; 10. wavy black hair with blond highlights and tipped blond: bobbed. velvet-black eyes with gold flecks

personality: acts like a queen, insane and lovable

{sorry for it being so ruff.}

have you a working/mock cover for your wip? if so, show us! if not, have you an idea in mind?

here’s my mock cover:

how did you get the idea for this story?

i have really no idea. i think it was first a daydream and i thought that it would make a good story.

how long do you think it will be?

probably not very long. a thin book.

is it longer or shorter than you thought it would be?

i inatialty was writing it as a short story but it has now blossomed into a book.

who’s your favorite character so far?

Jolly or Cim.

what’s your favorite memory related to this wip?

fighting with my sister about the characters. my sister told me that it had too many but i just couldn’t kick any out. XD

any special person(s) who helped create it?

my sisters.

what’s your favorite scene so far (if you can tell about it without spoilers!)?

it really isn’t far enough along yet for me to decide.

can you give us a snippet?

“Wh-what?” Reese had come up and was staring at the blue thing. His voice made Cherry jump, and it was then that she realized she had been holding her breath.

“What is it?” Ike asked, speaking for the first time.

“A portal of some kind,” Kat answered reasonably as she stood with her hands on her hips, scrutinizing the blue orb.

Reese burst out laughing. At least that makes two of us who are back to normal, Cherry thought. “You don’t really think that, do you?” he asked once he had recovered from laughing.

“Why not?” asked Kat. “Do you have any better ideas?” arching an eyebrow at her brown-headed friend.

He thought for a moment. “I guess not but…”

“But nothing. The only thing to do now is follow.”

The others all stared. All except Reese. After the words left Kat’s mouth he was beside the beanbag squinting at the portal. And then, before anyone could stop him, he had jumped through it and disappeared. Jolly gasped and Ike yelped.

“Come on guys,” Kat said, rolling her eyes. “Stop looking like a frozen statue Cherry and come after me. Then Jolly and Ike. Hurry!” with that, she grabbed Cherry’s hand and dragged her through the glowing doorway into the unknown.

is the story still what you thought it would be or has it thrown you a couple curveballs?

i don’t exactly have a view for it yet so…

is there a bible verse, poem, hymn, picture, or quote that helped shape this story?

nope!

when and where have you done most of the writing so far?

at random parts of the day when i have a burst to do so, at the computer.

where do you get inspiration for this story?

i… don’t know? XD

are you a plotter or a pantser?

it depends. a pantser for this story.

do you have a little ritual before you start writing?

no, but i should!

are you thinking of publishing this story?

yes!

what things have you learned while writing this story?

that characters will NOT stay in their character charts. *glares at Cherry*

i nominate…

Kads

Kaley

Merie

Sateja

and anyone else who wants to do it.
